The American Legion Warffemius-Seider Post 381 membership meeting opened at 7:35 pm
at Post HQ, 14313 Brandywine Heights Road, Brandywine, MD by Post Commander Ron
Fisher.

Minutes from the previous meeting was presented and approved.
A motion was made to suspend with normal business and move directly to Old Business and
the Wilmer’s Park issue. MSP.
Old Business:
Adjutant Erle Ross recapped the Post’s Special Meeting with National Executive Committee
Councilman Ed White and Southern Maryland District Commander Will Trotter on January
17, 2016.
Members who haven’t previously signed the Wilmer’s Park non-disclosure agreements were
asked to sign it and given an explanation to why this is asked of them.
A copy of the current iteration of the proposed lease for Wilmer’s Park was circulated for
remarks. Cmdr Fisher went over each paragraph to explain specifics for what they mean to the Post.
The individual documents of the Wilmer’s Park lease proposal necessary to abide by The
Rules of the DEC was reviewed for current status and compliance. Completed items was
placed in the custody of the Adjutant.
New Business: Post Member Jennifer Syler’s work with a women’s body building
organization was highlighted, as well as her recruiting new American Legion members. Cmdr
Fisher moved to have the Post sponsor her in her body building organization. After
discussion the motion was tabled.
Cmdr Fisher announced that next month the Post will start taking nominations for the next
Post officer election cycle.
Commander Ron Fisher congratulated Adj Ross for becoming a Life Member of the American
Legion along with himself.
Adj Ross asked for input from the membership to review the Post Bi-Laws and Constitution
for items to consider updating, correcting, or changing.
Adjourn: MSP to adjourn.
