The American Legion Warffemius-Seider Post 381 membership meeting opened at 7:33 pm
at Post HQ, 14313 Brandywine Heights Road, Brandywine, MD by Post Commander Ron
Fisher.

Judge Advocate Jeremy Foster announced that a quorum was present.
Minutes from the previous meeting was presented and approved with corrections.
Officer Reports:
The Financial Report was presented by Financial Officer Pamela Neal-Robinson with the
current bank accounts. MSP to accept her report.
Sick Call was presented by Chaplin Chris Marshall. Post Commander Fisher’s father is
recovering from surgery.
Service Officer’s Report was presented by Cmdr Fisher. Service Officer (SO) Marrie Nunn
received donations to the Wounded Warrior Project from sponsoring them at the Marlton
Golf Course.
Cmdr Fisher recapped the Marlton Golf Course open house event. He anticipates another
golf tournament next year and encouraged the Post to start working on that beginning next
month.
The Jude House presented Post 381 a Certificate of Appreciation for the Post’s support of
The Jude House program in August. Cmdr Fisher gave Program Manager Dean Thompson of
The Jude House a Post 381 Commander’s Coin in thanks.
Committee Reports:
Wilmer’s Park Committee chair 2nd Vice Commander Tyrone Eugene said the Park &
Recreation people have been busy clearing and mowing the property. They’ve installed
fencing on the front and on one side, and have started on the second side.
First Vice Commander Henry Turner asked if Park & Recreation Department has given Post
381 a Letter of Intent or Memorandum of Understanding that puts in writing that all the
work they are doing to Wilmer’s Park will be culminated in a lease for the property with Post
381. Cmdr Fisher has talked to them about many issues, including this, and they don’t want
to do that, but go straight to the lease when the property cleaning-up is completed. The
Park & Recreation Board has on record in their meetings their intent to make this property
available only to Post 381.
Old Business:
The Post 381 ball caps were misprinted and returned for corrections.
New Business:
Next month’s Post 381 membership meeting will include Prince George’s County
Commander Frank Porter attending and conducting the annual Post Inspection.
