The American Legion Warffemius-Seider Post 381 membership meeting opened at 7:23 pm
at Post HQ, 14313 Brandywine Heights Road, Brandywine, MD by Post Commander Ron
Fisher.
A quorum being met by the following
members in attendance or excused absences: Visitors:

Minutes from the previous meeting was presented and approved.
Reports:
Finance Report – Finance Officer (FO) Pam Neal-Robinson presented the Finance Report.

Sick Call – The following are recovering from illness or surgery: Chris Marshall, Bill Bush, Ron
Fisher’s father.
Service Officer’s Report – Service Officer (SO) Marrie Nunn has posted several resources for
veterans the Post web site.
Post member and Prince George’s Country NAACP President presented Post Member
Cheraunda Nunn the NAACP Presidential Award.
FO Neal-Robinson highlighted the Women in Military Service for America Memorial
Foundation to PGCC Commander Frank Porter how the Post and the Women’s Memorial are
helping each other.
Historian’s Report: Historian Felix Colaciello and member James “Fred” Harley reported on
the donation of the Prince George’s Country Vietnam War Memorial design memorabilia.
Some of the memorabilia was displayed to the Post and the history of the memorial’s
creation, design and PG County’s role was highlighted. The possible creation of the war
memorial on the Wilmer’s Park property was presented.
Grounds Committee: Cmdr Fisher and 3rd Vice Commander Eugene Tyrone updated the Post
that the Wilmer’s Park property is still moving forward. Specifics were given after everyone
verbally promised to keep what was said confidential.
The Good of the Post:
Prince George’s County Commander Frank Porter addressed the Post with the results of the
annual Post Inspection and addressed areas that could help bring highlight to the District
and Department what this Post is doing in the community.
Post Adjutant Erle Ross brought information from the most recent Prince George’s County
Council’s meeting in that local veterans who want to be buried in a Maryland Veteran’s
Cemetery should register in advance. The Maryland Department of Veterans Affairs,
Veterans Cemetery Program - Pre-application for Interment is available to anyone who asks.

Benediction was presented as a moment of silence.
