The American Legion Warffemius-Seidler Post 381 membership meeting opened at 7:17 pm 
at the UFCW 400 conference room, 8400 Corporate Drive, Landover, MD 20785 by Post 
Commander Ron Fisher. 

A quorum being met by the following

Invocation from PGC NAACP chaplain. 

New Business: An opportunity to combine our monthly meeting and that of the Prince 
George’s County Chapter (PGC) of the NAACP was proposed in early March. Cmdr Fisher 
consulted with the officers and the meeting was moved. The meeting was held at the United 
Food and Commercial Workers local 400’s conference room. 
Cmdr Fisher introduced the attending Post officers and presented photographs and 
maps of the Wilmer’s Park project to the PGC NAACP general membership meeting. The PGC 
NAACP voted to endorse Post 381 and the revitalization of Wilmer’s Park. 

Adjourn: MSP to adjourn. 

Benediction was given by the PGC NAACP Chaplain. 

Next meeting will be Monday, April 17, at 7:30pm, at Post 381 HQ, 14313 Brandywine 
Heights Road, Brandywine, Maryland. 

Meeting adjourned at 9:05pm.

at Post HQ, 14313 Brandywine Heights Road, Brandywine, MD by Post Commander Ron 
Fisher.

Minutes from the previous meeting was presented and approved. 

Reports: Finance Report was presented by Cmdr Ronald Fisher. MSP to approve. 

Old Business: Wilmer’s Park: The Post is on the agenda at the Prince George’s County 
Historical Preservation Commission’s (HPC) next meeting, tomorrow, February 21, 2017, at 
6:30pm at the PG County offices in Upper Marlboro, MD. Cmdr Fisher will present the plans 
for Wilmer’s Park and how our plans match those of the HPC. The slide presentation 
consisting of photographs and maps of Wilmer’s Park and Cmdr Fisher’s oral presentation 
were reviewed in preparation for the meeting. 

The District Oyster Bowl is set for this Saturday, February 25, and the Post has purchased 
one table of eight for members to attend. The Post is expected to receive an award for 
membership renewal for this year.
