Committee Reports:

Wilmer’s Park Committee chair 2nd Vice Commander Tyrone Eugene said the Park &
Recreation people have been busy clearing and mowing the property. They’ve installed
fencing on the front and on one side, and have started on the second side.

First Vice Commander Henry Turner asked if Park & Recreation Department has given Post
381 a Letter of Intent or Memorandum of Understanding that puts in writing that all the
work they are doing to Wilmer’s Park will be culminated in a lease for the property with Post
381. Cmdr Fisher has talked to them about many issues, including this, and they don’t want
to do that, but go straight to the lease when the property cleaning-up is completed. The
Park & Recreation Board has on record in their meetings their intent to make this property
available only to Post 381.
